About Jordan
I grew up in Indianapolis, and have lived in the Indy area my entire life. I was raised in a Christian home, and have 3 siblings. My older brother Jeremy is going to be a part of my wedding party, as well as my younger brother Jesse. I met my best man Cory Spears while studying at Vincennes while earning an associates in applied science degree in General Studies. I have so much to be thankful for, and am learning not to take anything for granted. When I was born I had a condition called Hydrocephallus which is water on the brain. I was blind for 4 months because of the pressure inside my head, and through a number of surgeries God restored my vision and I have been pretty healthy ever since.
I met my bride to be in High School, and even though we both liked each other during that time I came to the conclusion that she was too old for me (In High school for a Senior to be dating a Sophmore seems impossible). Well I'll let her describe what happened next.

I was born on Nov.19,1983. In New Jersey. I was born with CP. I was born 2 months early and had a stroke. I was 3 pounds. I have 2 brothers and a sister. My brothers names are Kyle and Cameron and my sister's name is Chloe. My dad went to heaven to be with Jesus when I was almost 10 years old. I love and miss my dad very much!! My mom got remarried and we had to move to Indiana and leave my family in New Jersey. That was very hard for me and it always will be I love my family very much!! I know it was God's perfect will for me to move to Indiana because in Indiana I met the love of my life and my forever soul mate in Jesus Christ Jordan Thomas Mentz. I am very very thankful to God for giving me a husband for life.
How we met
For many years before Jordan and I met again I had been praying hard asking God to bring a boy into my life that was a Christian who loves Jesus with all his heart,with all his mind and with everything he has. I knew that whoever God had for me to marry had to be a guy who loves Jesus and someone who really loves me for who I am and someone who looks past the fact that I am in a wheelchair and someone who wants to be my husband anyway. I wasn't sure if God was going to answer my prayers about this but I kept on praying anyway. It never enter my mind that the boy God had for me to marry would be Jordan Mentz. I was very mad at Jordan for a long time because he broke up with me and I wanted no part of him at all. So I kept on praying to God to bring someone else into my life, but no one ever came.
I kept on praying to God for him to bring a boy that was my age into my life who loves Jesus with all his heart. I have to say that a lot of times I didn't have enough faith in God to answer my prayers but I kept on praying anyway. I kept on falling in love with boys that didn't love me back at all. I never thought ted to think that Jordan Mentz would be the one for me. Then one day my mom said to me what if it's God's will for Jordan Mentz to come back into your life and he would be the one God has for you to marry. I told my mom stop it right now God doesn't want Jordan and I to be together and get married. That shows how much I know about God's will. Last summer I was very sad because my brother Cameron was leaving for college on Aug. 20th. I really didn't know what I was going to do without my brother Cameron at home.
So I prayed to God to bring a boy into my life to be with me. I am so thankful that God answered my prayers and sent Jordan Thomas Mentz into my life. On Aug. 25th five days after Cameron left for college. Jordan and I started dating and on that night Jordan asked me to be his girlfriend. Our story just goes on from there.
